Conga Drumming Course
Occasionally we run short six week courses introducing beginners to the conga's. We look at various sounds that can be made by using different parts of the hand. This course is an introduction to both Brazilian and Cuban style conga playing.

Workshops
Brian Evans, the tutor on these courses has been playing drums since the age of 12, has a BMUS degree in music and teaches percussion full-time in Wirral.

 

Open Samba Workshops
Taking Place every monday evenings at Oldershaw School, Wallasey. Wirral from 7.00pm to 9.00pm In the workshops we teach samba drumming styles such as Hip Hop, Samba Reggae,Batucada from Rio De Janerio as well as. some original grooves. The samba workshop group get involved with playing gigs as a group as well as joining in with the performance group .Oxiris'. The workshops are for the community and are open to everyome regardless of playing experience.

The cost is £5 for a two hour session with a short break.
